SLD 88 SUNFLOWER HYBRID SEED

Seedland 88 is a high-quality sunflower hybrid seed that delivers excellent field performance. ► Maturity Period; Seedland 88 is a medium-maturing hybrid, reaching maturity in approximately 78 to 90 days. ► Yield Potential; Seedland 88 has a high yield potential, producing an average of 18 to 22 bags per acre under good crop management practices. ► Strong Stalks; Seedland 88 has strong, thick stalks that provide excellent resistance to lodging (falling over). ► Drought Tolerance; Seedland 88 is drought tolerant and also has the ability to self-pollinate, ensuring stable performance under varying conditions. ► High Oil Content; Seedland 88 produces premium-quality oil with an oil content ranging from 45% to 48%. It is highly preferred by both farmers and oil processors. ► Disease Resistance; Seedland 88 has good resistance to major sunflower diseases, including: Leaf Rust, White Blister (Albugo), Powdery Mildew ,Alternaria Leaf Spot etc. ► Downward-Facing Heads; When mature, Seedland 88 develops naturally downward-facing heads, which help reduce sun damage, minimize seed rot, and protect the crop from bird attacks.

Seedland 77 is a premium-quality sunflower seed variety that is widely adapted and performs well across many regions of Tanzania. ▶ Early Maturity; Seedland 77 matures within an average of 67 to 90 days, allowing farmers to harvest earlier and plan for the next cropping season. ▶ High Yield Potential; Seedland 77 has a high yield potential, producing an average of 14 to 20 bags per acre under good agronomic practices. ▶ Strong Stems; Seedland 77 develops thick, sturdy stems that help the crop resist lodging (falling over), ensuring better field performance and easier harvesting. ▶ Disease Tolerance; Seedland 77 has good tolerance to major sunflower diseases, including: Leaf Rust, White Rust (Albugo), Powdery Mildew, Alternaria Leaf Spot ▶ High Oil Content; Seedland 77 produces high-quality sunflower oil with an oil content ranging from 41% to 45%.
